The creation of the Traffic Pro Bed was due to necessity. Skip Torornik owns a traffic control company based at Frederick, Maryland, servicing the DC region.
He started 30 years ago in the industry and you sat on the tailgate of a pickup truck and there was no real requirement what it took to do traffic control.
Nobody put any thought behind it, but as the demand of traffic control picked up and the regulations on highway projects increased, there has been a gap in solving this critical issue.
